Many Chinese people have appreciated the return of traditional dress. It has also become one of China's many subculture fashions. It makes many people feel authentic. While some wear it daily as a lifestyle it is more common now to wear Hanfus to formal occasions. I have also observed the amazing photoshoots and photography done by influencers in these outfits which promotes the revival's popularity.
